On my birthday and I have enough

I recently turned 41; my wife asked me several times throughout the day if I was sure I didn’t want anything.

I have enough, I let her know.

Around the third time, my eight year old daughter heard me say this. She turned back and gave me the most profound look I think I’ve ever received from an eight year old. It was angelic and beautiful and I am left with the thought, what an awesome message for her to hear her dad say (a friend told me this).
